Directions to Wheaton Athletic Facilities
Wheaton College is located 35 miles south of Boston and 15 miles north of Providence, R.I., in the northeastern United States. The college is accessible by car from Interstate 95 and Interstate 495. Public transportation connects Boston and Providence, and their airports, to Wheaton. On campus, Haas Athletic Center and Clark Recreation Center are the two primary athletic facilities, with courts, fields and pools adjacent or located within. The Thomas A. Pappas Fitness Center is located in Balfour-Hood Campus Center. (All parkings lots referred to in the directions can be located in the printable campus map.)

From Boston and
Northern New England: Take Interstate 95 south to
Exit 6A onto Interstate 495 south. Follow 495 south 2.5 miles to
Exit 11. Turn onto 140 south.
To Haas: Follow Route 140 south 2.8 miles. Turn left at
the intersection of Routes 140 and 123. Proceed one-tenth of a mile
east on Route 123 and take a right onto campus at Howard Street.
Follow Howard Street to the stop sign and take a left. After
two-tenths of a mile, Haas Athletic Center will be on the right.
Parking can be found in lots 6 and 8 (and additionally in Lot 3 off
of Pine Street, with easy access to outdoor fields).
To Clark: Follow Route 140 south 2.6 miles. After passing
Wheaton's baseball field (Sidell Stadium) on the left, take a left
onto campus. Clark Recreation Center is located along the campus
road, while the field hockey and softball fields and tennis courts
are located beyond Clark Recreation Center. Parking can be found in
Lot 1.
From Western Massachusetts: Take Interstate 90 (the
Massachusetts Turnpike) to Exit 11A onto Interstate 495 south.
Follow 495 south 28 miles to Exit 11. Turn onto 140
south.
To Haas: Follow Route 140 south 2.8 miles. Turn left at
the intersection of Routes 140 and 123. Proceed one-tenth of a mile
east on Route 123 and take a right onto campus at Howard Street.

10. Take a left to follow Route 123 west for 1.8 miles.
To Haas: Take a left onto campus at Howard Street. Follow
Howard Street to the stop sign and take a left. After two-tenths of
a mile, Haas Athletic Center will be on the right. Parking can be
found in lots 6 and 8 (and additionally in Lot 3 off of Pine
Street, with easy access to outdoor fields).
To Clark: Take a right onto campus at the Nursery school.
Clark Recreation Center is located straight ahead along the campus
road; once at Clark Recreation Center, the baseball field is to the
left, while the field hockey and softball fields and tennis courts
are located to the right. Parking can be found in Lot 1.
Directions to Faxon Field
180 Danforth Street
Rehoboth, MA
Take 195E to exit 4 (Rt. 44-Taunton Ave). Follow signs for
Rt. 44 east. On Taunton Ave, follow Rt. 44 east for 8-10 miles. Go
into Rehoboth, MA past mini golf and Palmer River sign. One mile
after, look for sign for Francis Farms. Opposite sign on left is
Danforth St. Turn left onto Danforth. Faxon Farm is first driveway
on left.
