THE RUNDOWN:  

  • Bridgewater State scored the only goal of the first half, and its only goal of the game, in the 25th minute when Kathryn Jacobson took advantage of a cluster in front of the net and tipped a shot into the cage. 
  • Wheaton equalized in the 46th minute when Hannah Arkin collected a pace across the crease from senior Katie Peters and shot it into the right side. 
  • Peters netted the game-winning goal in teh 63rd minute with a shot across frame to the far post. 
  • Michelle Connolly collected an assist in the 65th minute after passing the ball in to Emma Peterson who tipped it near post. 
  • The Lyons ended the scoring in the 69th minute with another Arkin goal. This time Arkin buried the ball on a feed from Peterson for her fourth goal of the season. 
  • Riley Thompson ended the contest with seven saves, while Kenzie Stueve and the Lyons defense each came up with a defensive save.
