Wheaton to Celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day
On Wednesday, February 3, the Wheaton College Athletics Department will celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) by honoring its senior female student-athletes at halftime of the Lyons’ women’s basketball game against Babson College. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. inside Emerson Gymnasium.
WAMs to host Twelfth Annual Big Event Weekend Feb. 4-6
The Wheaton Athletic Mentors (WAMs), a leadership group of student-athletes from each of the college's 21 varsity sports programs, will host the twelfth annual Big Event on Thursday, February 4 through Saturday, February 6 to promote sobriety among college students and to contribute to the local community.

Emily Chick ’14 Earns Prestigious Fulbright Scholarship
NORTON, Mass. – Former standout student-athlete Emily Chick ’14 (Bangor, Maine/Bangor) has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English in Uruguay. Chick, who graduated magna cum laude from Wheaton College last May, was a double major in Hispanic studies and international relations, and a four-year member of the field hockey program.
