Men's Swimming & Diving Takes on Tufts

LOCATION: Tufts University (Medford, Mass.)  

THE RUNDOWN:  

  • The Jumbos defeated the Lyons 180.00-112.00.
  • Senior Jonathan Dunnett won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:00.34. Dunnett finished in second place in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:19.70.
  • First-year Antonio Guerrieri won the 1-meter dive with 288.75 points. Guerrieri also took home a win in the 3-meter dive with 258.85 points.
  • Jacob Cost took home second place in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:59.01.
  • Daniel Roch took home fourth in the 500 free with a time of 5:19.79.
  • The Lyons swept the 100 butterfly with Kevin Silva leading the way with a time of 57.56, while Chris Steward finished in second place (28.21), and first-year Kieran Lynch finished third (59.10).
  • Silva also won the 200 IM (2:06.70), while Jesmond Bollman finished second (2:11.99), while Nicholas Marchetti finished in third with a time of 2:15.70.
  • The Lyons 400 free relay team (James Horne, Roch, Dunnett, Cost) won the event with a time of 3:21.37.
