Men's Swimming Breaks More School Records; Equals Best Team Finish at NEWMAC Championships

THE RUNDOWN:  

  • The Lyons ended the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships with a fourth place finish, which equals the teams best finish in program history. 
  • Senior Jonathan Dunnett broke his own school record in the 200 breast with a time of 2:03.46, which earned him a third place finish and NCAA B cut mark. 
  • Jacob Cost ended the 200 back with a fourth place finish and NCAA B cut time of 1:50.01. 
  • James Horne won the B finals of the 100 free, while Kevin Silva finished eighth in the 200 fly. 
  • Horne, Dunnett, Cost and Raymond Bortolot collected a fourth place finish in the 400 free relay, touching in 3:07.97.

UP NEXT: The Lyons now have to wait to find out who has qualified for the 2018 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships.
