Ben Chalot starts his fourth year with both the men's and women's swimming and diving programs in 2015-16.
Chalot, who also doubles as the Associate Director of Career Services at Wheaton, competed at The College of Wooster for four years (1994-1998) earning several All-Northcoast Athletic Conference (NCAC) All-Conference honors over his career, while qualifying for the NCAA's in five different events (100-free, 200-free, 200, 400 & 800-free relays). Chalot still holds one school record in the program along with his teammates in the 800-free relay (6:59.87/1996).
Prior to his appointment at Wheaton, Chalot coached age group and high school teams at Upper Saint Clair and Mount Lebanon in Pittsburgh, Pa. Chalot also was the head coach of the Wooster YMCA team for four years and an assistant coach for the Hockomock YMCA based out of North Attleboro, Mass. for five years.
A May 1998 graduate of The College of Wooster with a bachelor of arts in anthropology, Chalot went on to earn his master's of education, specializing in higher education administration, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000.
