Feit, White Named NEWMAC Men’s Tennis Doubles Team Of The Week

Duo goes undefeated in 1-1 week overall

NORTON, Mass. – Wheaton College men's tennis freshmen Jonah Feit (Los Angeles, Calif./Milken Community) and Will White (Nantucket, Mass./Cape Cod Academy) have been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Doubles Team of the Week by the league office, it was announced yesterday.

Feit and White went undefeated at No.1 doubles in a 1-1 week overall for the Lyons. The duo teamed up for a No.1 doubles victory over Saint Anselm senior William Condon (Mansfield, Mass./Mansfield) and sophomore Kyle White (Cambridge, Mass./Cambridge Rindge & Latin) by an 8-2 score. On Saturday against Babson College, Feit and White earned an 8-3 triumph Connor DeFiore (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Saddlebrook) and Ramone Doyley (Kingston, Jamaica/Campion College) for the Lyons only win in an 8-1 loss to the Beavers.

Feit and White are 6-6 overall in their first collegiate season playing all of their matches at No.1 doubles. The duo has won three-straight matches and six of their last ten overall.

Wheaton (7-5, 1-3 NEWMAC) takes on Endicott College today at home in a non-conference match at 4:00 p.m.
