Feit, Sharon Earn Three Wins At ITA New England Regional

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Wheaton College men's tennis sophomore Jonah Feit (Los Angeles, Calif./Milken Community) and senior co-captain Dan Sharon (Santa Monica, Calif./Brentwood School) both competed in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III New England Regional on Friday, hosted by Middlebury College.

Feit advanced to third round in singles play with a 6-4, 6-4 win over sixth-seeded Teddy Fitzgibbons (Mission Hills, Kan./Pembroke Hill) of Middlebury College and a 6-0, 6-1 triumph against Bowdoin College senior Eric Chien (Golden Valley, Minn./Breck School). Feit will play Bates College senior Timmy Berg (Bradenton, Fla./Cardinal Mooney) tomorrow in third round singles action.

Sharon fell to Middlebury sophomore Jackson Frons (Encino, Calif./Harvard-Westlake) by a 6-1, 6-1 score but rebounded in doubles play with Feit as the Wheaton duo notched a 9-7 victory versus Bates' freshman Patrick Ordway (Falmouth, Maine/Waynflete School) and senior Eric Ruta (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood).

Feit and Sharon will continue play tomorrow morning on day two of the ITA Division III New England Regional.
