Men's Tennis Falls to Whittier

WHITTIER, Calif. - The Wheaton College men's tennis team continued their spring trip in California by competing against the Whittier College Poets. The Lyons fell to the Poets, 8-1, on Thursday.

In No. 1 doubles action, sophomore Jeremiah Ryser and first-year Jackson Gwinn notched a 9-7 victory for the Lyons to lead off the match. That would be the only win Wheaton would secure as Whittier swept the remaining wins in doubles and across the board in singles action.

The Lyons wrap up their spring trip by battling Occidental College in California on Friday at 8 p.m. EST.
