King Qualifies for Postseason; Lyons Compete at Tufts

MEDFORD, Mass. - First-year Gareth King guided the Wheaton College men's track & field team at the Tufts Snowflake Classic on Sunday when he earned a New England Division III Championships qualifying time of 16.57 in the 110-meter hurdles.

Senior Brendan Sullivan followed next in line for the Lyons in the 100-meter hurdles, registering 10th place with a 17.11 final time. 

Junior Josh Alabre went on to have a solid showing for Wheaton in the 800-meter run while in field events, Sullivan claimed 1.78m final in the high jump and sophomore Bobby Pedersen earned a personal best showing in the javelin of 37.99m.

The Lyons compete next on Saturday in the Amherst Invitational hosted at Amherst College.
