Sullivan Guides Men's Track & Field at Amherst Invite

AMHERST, Mass. - The Wheaton College men's track & field team battled it out at the Amherst Invitational on Saturday as senior Brendan Sullivan guided the Lyons with a strong performance in the 110-meter hurdles.

Sullivan claimed seventh place overall in hurdles with a 16.88 final time. 

Junior Raymond Bortolot led the way for Wheaton in the 100-meter dash with sophomore Kellen Bogardus guiding the Lyons in the 200-meter. In the 800-meter run, first-year Luke Thombs, first-year Alex Domagalski and first-year Nate Chretien-Mansur timed in respectively for the Lyons.

In field events, junior Jonathan Dunnett tabbed the top spot in the long jump while sophomore Bobby Pedersen claimed Wheaton the top place in the javelin throw.

The Lyons compete next on Saturday, April 15 at the Tufts Sunshine Classic and Towson Invitational.
