BOSTON, Mass. - Sophomore Bobby Pedersen has been named to the 2017 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Track & Field  All-Sportsmanship Team, released Wednesday by the league office.

New to the conference this year, the NEWMAC has established an All-Sportsmanship Team for the 2016-17 Academic Year. The award is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each team, in every sport that best demonstrates the ideals of the NEWMAC and its Code of Conduct, regardless of his/her overall performance or statistics for the season. The six NEWMAC Men's Track and Field honorees are listed below.

At the NEWMAC Track and Field championship last weekend Babson's John Decker was named the Track Athlete of the Year while MIT's Cody Bratten was named the Field Athlete of the Year followed by Springfield's Tyler Hansen as the Rookie of the Year.
