BOSTON, Mass. - The Wheaton College synchronized swimming team competed at the Boston University Invitational on Saturday at Case Athletic Center, located on the campus of Boston University.
Senior Christiana Butera (San Diego, Calif./San Diego Sweetwater Dolphins) placed third in the Figure A meet with a score of 71.267. In Figure B competition, freshman Kayla Moses (East Greenbush, N.Y./CDYMCA Sculpins) placed second (68.739), junior Kirsten Wendth (Waterford, N.Y./CDYMCA Sculpins) was seventh (67.635), and junior Rebecca Gordon (North Haven, Conn./New Canaan YMCA Synchro) was eighth (67.234).
In Figure C competition, the Lyons filled the top seven spots, led by senior Anastasia Hare (Buffalo, N.Y./Buffalo Swimkins) with a score of 63.201. Junior Christine Dyster (Tempe, Ariz./Arizona Desert Games) was second (62.873), followed by sophomore Nicole Chicoine (Santa Rosa, Calif./Red Wood Empire Synchro) in third (61.810), freshman Riley Callahan-Mayo (San Diego, Calif./San Diego Sweetwater Dolphins) in fourth (61.302), junior Elizabeth Watkins (Indianapolis, Ind./Indy Synchro) in fifth (61.163), freshman Janine Kopeski (Sterling, Conn./ANA Synchro) in sixth (60.872), and sophomore Holly Wagman (York, Pa./Pennsylvania Falconettes) in seventh (60.384).
The meet concludes Sunday with the group performances.
