NORTON, Mass. - The women's basketball team hosted a free clinic for Norton fifth and sixth graders tonight at Emerson Gymnasium. The Lyons paid tribute to everyone who has been affected by the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14, 2012 by hosting the free clinic for members of the Norton community.

At the end of the clinic, players from the women's basketball team and the Norton students signed a card for the Newtown community.

The women's basketball team also plans on attending various elementary schools throughout the Massachusetts region during the season to honor and support the Newtown community by offering free basketball clinics.
