THE RUNDOWN:  

  • Wheaton's first-year, Mikayla Pucci, led the team in scoring with 12 points while going 2-2 from the line. Pucci also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. 
  • Guards Rebecca Olivieri and Natalie Wind would help contribute to the offense picking up six points apiece. 
  • The Lyons battled the Engineers of MIT in the first half but fell short, 32-14.
  • The Engineers were led by first-year Kylie Gallagher. Gallagher led all in scoring with 15 points while grabbing seven rebounds. 
  • After a strong first half by the Engineers, the Lyons fought back in the second half, holding MIT to just 24 points. 
  • Wheaton scored eight points off of turnovers while MIT scored 12 points.
  • The Lyon bench outscored the Engineers, with all 12 of Wheaton's healthy players seeing action.
