THE RUNDOWN:  

  • Wheaton was led by sophomore guard Natalie Wind, who registered 12 points, while Mikayla PucciEmily Cuthbertson, and Ruthie Zientek each scored six points apiece. 
  • Senior Rebecca Olivieri contributed seven points and shot 4-4 from the line, grabbing one rebound.
  • Springfield was led by guard Alex Goslin who contributed 17 points while Gracie Restituyo produced her 10th double-double of the season, consisting of 12 points and 12 rebounds. 
  • Springfield jumped out to an early lead in the first, but Wind's back-to-back three-pointers helped Wheaton climb back 17-15 at the end of one. Springfield held onto their lead at the end of second quarter, 29-22.
  • Wheaton fought back in the last two quarters but was unable to catch the Pride as they ended the game 76-50.
  • The Lyons found help from the bench as they collectively scored 25 points, while Springfield's bench contributed 23 points.
