THE RUNDOWN: 

  • Bowdoin, who is ranked 18th in the nation according to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), quickly ran away with the contest, scoring 10 goals over a span of 23 minutes. 
  • Maggie Dymes put Wheaton on the board with 4:43 left in the opening half, but Bowdoin would earn the goal back right before the intermission, taking an 11-1 lead into halftime. 
  • The second half was much more competitive with the Polar Bears holding a slim, 5-4, advantage. 
  • Katie Peters and Maddy Lahm combined for Wheaton's four goals, with Dymes picking up the Lyons only assist on the day. 
  • Molly Witten made nine saves in nearly 43 minutes of action, while Galicia Rothe came up with four saves in her 18 minutes of play.
