THE RUNDOWN:  

  • The Lancers captured a 1-0 lead in the first minute of action after a Lyon clear bounced backwards and landed at the feet of Talia Borci, who netted her first goal of the season. 
  • Wheaton first-year Hannah Lepordo tied the contest in the 34th minute to a shot from the top of the 18-yard box.
  • Senior captain Megan Healy gave the Lyons their first lead of the game in the 46th minute. The goal is the 15th of her career and first of the season. 
  • Ashleigh Howland of Worcester St. tied the game at two-all with four minutes remaining in regulation with an assist from Megan Gurlitz. 
  • Junior Leann Wolf and sophomore Alexa Barbagallo shared time in goal for the Lyons, with Wolf coming up with three saves and Barbagallo two. 
  • Jill Zinkus played all 90 minutes in net for the Lancers, coming up with eight saves.
