Lindsey Garvey joined the Wheaton College staff as an assistant coach in 2016 and served as the interim head coach for 14 games.
Her collegiate coaching career began in the 2015 season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Lesley University women’s soccer team. The team went on to secure the New England Collegiate Conference title. She assisted the program with practice organization, equipment setup and developing game strategy for specific opponent while analyzing game film and evaluating player performance to provide both team and individual feedback.
Garvey was a four-year starter for the Emmanuel College Saints, voted captain following her junior season. Having scored a career total of 37 goals and ranking among the top five for total points in the program’s history. Garvey also notched three All-GNAC Selections. She is a 2014 graduate of Emmanuel College where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Sports Management.
She continued her education at Northeastern University and completed the Master's of Sports Leadership program in May 2016.
