Wright wraps up first NCAA appearance with three-meter dive

MINNEAPOLIS, MN- Wheaton College sophomore Julia Wright (Pomfret, VT/Northfield Mount Hermon School) wrapped up her inaugural NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship appearance on Saturday with the three-meter dive at the University Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.

During the afternoon's preliminaries, Wright totaled 365.85 points off the three-meter platform, narrowly missing the consolation finals by 16.90 points, which would have garnered an All-America honorable mention accolade.  As was the case during Thursday's one-meter competition, Wright placed fourth among New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) divers.
