SHENANDOAH, Texas - Junior Jenna Hayden competed in the 100-yard backstroke on Friday, which marks her second race of the 2017 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships. She began with the 100-yard butterfly on Thursday.
Hayden finised prelims in 57.03.
The junior has one more race to go. She is set to compete in the 100-yard freestyle on Saturday, March 18 (prelims 10 a.m. CST).
Hayden is the fifth women's swimmer to compete individually at the NCAA Championships for Wheaton, and first since 2012. She was crowned NEWMAC Champion in the 100-yard backstroke.
