Sophomore sprinters compete in pair of individual events at NCAAs

BEREA, OH- Wheaton College men's outdoor track & field sophomore Cailean Robinson (Newton, MA/Phillips Exeter Academy) advanced to Saturday's 100-meter dash finals during the second day of the NCAA Championship on Friday at Baldwin-Wallace College's Finnie Stadium.

Robinson took third in his eight-man heat with a time of 10.77, as he is one of eight finalists to reach Saturday's championship race.

Sophomore Didine Jusme (Providence, RI/Classical) competed in the 100M hurdles event earlier in the day, finishing sixth in her heat in 15.37.   

The Lyons are slated to compete in three events during tomorrow's final day of action, beginning with the men's 4x100M relay at 1:00 p.m.  Robinson will run the 100M dash at 2:40 p.m., and the men's 4x400M relay will close out the competition at 4:55 p.m.
