Gustavson & Fontaine End Season Strong; Gustavson Earns All-American Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Wheaton College women's track & field athletes, Emily Gustavson and Raevyn Fontaine, wrapped up the 2017 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships Saturday afternoon at the SPIRE Institute. 

Fontaine wrapped up her season ranked 10th in the nation in the 100m hurdles. The junior set a new personal best time in the event during the preliminaries. 

Gustavson ends her career at Wheaton with another All-American honor in 2017 after earning All-American status during the indoor season. The senior finished fifth in the nation, and second in all of New England, in the 200m with a new personal record of 24.30. She also raced in the 400m where she ended with a lifetime best of 55.63, finishing ninth in the nation.
