NORTON, Mass. - The Wheaton College field hockey team fell to the visiting Engineers of MIT, 6-1, this afternoon in conference play. Paige Forester registered the first three goals of the game for a hat trick and a 3-0, MIT lead. Emma Majercak scored with an assist from Helen Liu in the 41st minute, just before Amanda Garofalo scored an assisted goal from Devon Goetz to bring the score to 5-0. Finally, Liv Parsons handed Mia Reilly a slip left in front of the goal at 52:44 for MIT's sixth and final goal of the day. Wheaton would not go down without a goal of their own though, as Hannah Arkin sped into the circle to collect a wide slip to the right from Ellie Williams to put the Lyons on the board with 15:58 left to play. Morgan Karnes picked up 11 saves in the loss, while Grace Moore collected two for MIT.
