WORCESTER, Mass. – The Wheaton College men's lacrosse team opened New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play on Saturday, but dropped 11-6 against the Clark University Cougars.

The loss moves the Lyons to 4-5 (0-1 NEWMAC) as Clark advances to 8-1 (1-0 NEWMAC).

Clark jumped on the board first when Andrew Myhre scored the first goal at 7:46.
