NORTON, Mass. - Wheaton College sophomore midfielder Luke Finkelstein (Peabody, Mass./Peabody) earned a start in the Rams only game of the week as Real Boston fell to the GPS Portland Phoenix, 2-1, on Saturday night.
Finkelstein has played in 11 out of 12 games on the season for the Rams, scored two goals and dished out one assist. Finkelstein is third on the team in minutes played (939) and ranks first overall among all midfielders in that category.
Real Boston currently sits in sixth place in the Northeast Division standings with a 3-8-1 record overall (2-4-0 home/1-4-1 away). The Rams are two points behind CFC Azul with two games remaining on the schedule. Real Boston plays back-to-back games to close out the season this weekend with a contest against Western Mass on Friday, July 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 20 versus CFC Azul at home with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m.
