NORTON, Mass. - The Wheaton men's soccer team continued to be a consistent face in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament in 2015, making its 18th straight trip to the postseason. The Lyons are expected to continue that consistancy in 2016, being picked to finish second in the NEWMAC Preseason Coaches Poll behind Babson College.

The Blue and White finished the 2015 campaign with an 11–8 overall record and 5–2 league record, en route to the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament. Wheaton outscored its opponents 43–26, which included netting 20 goals, compared to its opponents' three, during the team's seven-game winning streak. The 2015 team posted a season-best five consecutive shutouts between September 12 and 23.

Individually, Kevin Davis '17 earned his second National Soccer Coaches of America Association (NSCAA) All-New England Region honor. The defender also picked up his second NEWMAC All-Conference honor after competing and starting in 17 games for the Lyons and dishing out two assists this season. He was named Wheaton's Chad Yowell Outstanding Male Athlete in 2015.

Amara Sesay '18 also earned NSCAA All-New England Region honors, while being named NEWMAC All-Conference.

Both players are set to return along with 14 other players, including goalkeeper James Bailey, midfielder Sean Hurlburt and forward Louis Chavez. Davis will serve as team captain this season. The Lyons returning force will be joined by nine incoming student-athletes who are all poised to make an immediate impact.
