NORTON, Mass. - The Wheaton College men's soccer team dropped their first road game of the season as the Lyons took on the Keene State Owls and fell 6-1.

First-year Roni Diniz scored the lone goal for Wheaton (3-2) at 46:06 to kick off the second half after the Owls went on a five-goal run during the first. This was his second career goal.

Junior Amara Sesay tried to chip away at the lead with a shot that missed just high. First-year J.D. Souza, Diniz, sophomore Adam Waks and junior Louis Chavez also put forth shot attempts, but came up short and unable to notch another goal for Wheaton before the timer ran out.

The Lyons held the 5-4 advantage on corner kicks while the Owls held the 15-12 mark on shots.

The Lyons bring the action back home on Wednesday when they host New England College with kick off at Keefe Field scheduled for 4 p.m.
