THE RUNDOWN:  

  • The Wheaton College men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss to Babson College this afternoon on Keefe Field. Wheaton drops to 6-8 overall and 2-3 in the NEWMAC, while Babson improves to 7-2-4 and 3-0-2. 
  • Babson's Noah Parker scored in the 84th minute without any help, lifting the Beavers to a 1-0 victory after outshooting the Lyons, 17-3. 
  • Antonio Rogliano registered Wheaton's lone shot on goal in the contest in the 49th minute, but Steven Heintzelman kept the hosts scoreless with his only save of the game. 
  • Diego Medina earned the start for Wheaton, but takes the loss after tallying 9 saves and allowing Babson's goal. 
  • Heintzelman's record improves along with the team as he recorded the one-save shutout.
