Men's Soccer Falls to WPI in Tight Battle

NORTON, Mass. - The Wheaton College men's soccer lost a tightly contested New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) game to visiting WPI Saturday afternoon at Keefe Field, falling to the Engineers 1-0. 

WPI held a slim 9-8 advantage in shots, while Wheaton earned six corner kicks to WPI's one. The Engineers collected the game's only goal in the 53rd minute with Jackson Conroy finding the back of the net. Diego Medina finished the contest with three saves for the Lyons, while Rufus Adams was only forced to make one save.
