NORTON, Mass. - The Wheaton College men's soccer team came up with a 1-0 win over Springfield College to end the regular season. Chris Brubaker scored the game-winner in the 59th minute after a free kick inside the box took a hard bounce off a Springfield defender and into the goal. The remainder of the game saw evenly matched offenses as each team fired five shots over the final minutes, but Wheaton's defense anchored the Lyons to secure the 1-0 win. Diego Medina earns another win on the season with his five-save performance, while Chris Prizio takes the loss despite making six saves. Wheaton will await word from the NEWMAC conference on seedings for the 2019 postseason bracket.
