NORTON, Mass. - Seniors JD Souza and Jules Stewart have been selected to compete in the NEISL Senior All-Star Game, slated to take place on Sunday, December 1 at 1:00 p.m. on the campus of Brandeis University.
The seniors combined for 42 points over four years in uniform for the Lyons. Souza completed his career with 67 starts in 69 games played and 24 career points (8g, 8a). In his senior campaign, the midfielder put up a career-high 4 goals paired with an assist for 9 points. Jules Stewart registered 18 points (6g, 6a) over his 58-game career as a defender, including his career-best 10 points (4g, 2a) in 2018 and 6 points (2g, 2a) his senior year.
Wheaton finished the 2019 season with a 9-8-1 overall record and a 4-3 regular season record in conference play. The Lyons earned the third seed in the NEWMAC Championship and a bye to the semifinal round before falling to the #2 seeded Babson College, 2-1 in overtime.
