Men's Swimming & Diving Finish NEWMAC Championships in Sixth Place

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Wheaton College men's swimming & diving team concluded the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championships in sixth place with a score of 415. 

William Garneau finished 13th in the 1650 free, finishing in 16:54.83, while Trevor Ragas finished 18th with a time of 17:39.21. 

Colton Parkinson competed in the 200 back finals (2:04.22), while Daniel Roch finished the 12th in the 100 free (46.88). 

The best performance of the night came from Richard Matthews in the 200 breaststroke with the sophomore finishing in fifth place with a time of 2:06.16. The night ended with a fifth-place finish from the 400 free relay, with Ethan Bosworth, Matthews, John Giberti, and Roch finishing in 3:07.42.
