Men's Tennis Falls to Marymount

THE RUNDOWN:  

  • The Wheaton College men's tennis team returned to action Wednesday afternoon, falling to Marymount California University 5-2. 
  • Wheaton's first point came from Ethan Na in the four spot with the first-year winning 7-5, 6-3 over Conrad Spedding. 
  • Jack Luyrink earned the teams other point, winning 6-0, 6-0 in the six spot.
  • Wheaton did win one of the three doubles contests, but the points went to Marymount with the two sides playing Division I rules, where the doubles point goes to the team who wins best out of three. 

UP NEXT: Wheaton returns to action on Thursday, March 12 against Haverford in California.
