Men's Track and Field Competes at Tufts Snowflake Classic

LOCATION: Boston, Mass.

THE RUNDOWN:  

  • Johnny Robbins earned a fourth-place finish in the pole vault after clearing 3.95m. He currently sits 5th on the NEWMAC performance list.
  • Luke Thombs and Jack Muldoon each had a strong showing in the 5000m run. Thombs ran a 15:58, which was a          52-second personal best in the event. Thombs' time earned him a spot on Wheaton's all time top ten list. Muldoon came in shortly after in a personal best time of 16:14.   
  •  
    Bobby Pedersen earned a 6th place finish in the javelin with a toss of 49.84m. Later in the day, he ran a personal best of 23.64 in the 200m run.
  • Marcel Smith was just shy of missing the finals in the 110m hurdles, finishing with a time of 16.83. 
  • Marcel Smith, Bobby Pedersen, Hudson Ingoldsby and Grant Hefler teamed up to run the 4x100m relay, finishing with a time of 45.29.
  •  
    In the middle distance events, Will Entwisle finished the 800m with a time of 2:04.98, placing him fourth on the NEWMAC performance list while Josh Alabre turned in a personal best time of 4:29.38 in the 1500m.
     

UP NEXT: Wheaton returns to action on Saturday, April 7 where they will travel to the Amherst College Invitational.
