Ingoldsby Kicks off Day 1 of the Heptathlon

MEDFORD, Mass. - Junior Hudson Ingoldsby made his collegiate debut in the heptathlon Friday night at the Tufts Branwen Smith-King Invitational. Ingoldsby got his night going by finishing 4th overall in the 60m dash with a personal best time of 7.41. Ingoldsby kept the momentum going in the long jump with another personal best jump of 6.15m which placed him 5th overall. The third event the shot put Ingoldsby with another personal best threw 10.50 meters which was good for third overall in the event. Ingoldsby concluded the night tied for first place in the high jump with a leap of 1.87m. 

After day one Ingoldsby sits second overall in the event with a score of 2564. He will return to action tomorrow for day two starting at 9 am and will be competing in the 60m Hurdles, Pole Vault, and 1000m.
