Emily Gustavson will enter her second season as an assistant men's and women's cross country and track and field coach at Wheaton College during the 2018-19 academic year.
Gustavson returns to her alma mater Wheaton College after graduating in the spring of 2017 with a degree in Film and New Media Studies.
As an undergraduate at Wheaton, Gustavson was a four-year member of the track & field team and served as captain her junior and senior year. She also qualified for nationals five times in track and field for the 200m, 400m, and the 4x100m relay. She garnered All American accolades twice in the 200 meters. She was voted NEWMAC Track athlete of the year in 2017, was a 7 time NEWMAC Champion and was the Debi Field Outstanding Female Athlete Award recipient.
She has also earned certifications in Sprints, Hurdles, Relays specialist from the USTFCCCA Track and Field Academy, and has her USATF Level 1 coaching certification.
