Men's Cross Country Finishes Keene State Invitational

LOCATION: Keene, N.H. (Keene State Cross Country Course)

THE RUNDOWN:  

  • The Wheaton College men's cross country team competed in the Keene State Invitational Saturday morning, finishing in 11th place out of 16 programs.
  • Dominic Sclafani paced the Lyons with a 13th place finish out of 193 runners with the second best time of his career (26:46.90).
  • The next Wheaton runner to cross the finish line was Alec Devine who finished with a personal best time(28:01.30), while Kevin Fischer finished in 78th with a time PR of 28:56.90. 
  • Rounding out the top-five, both of which finished with record times, were sophomore Andrew Kniska and first-year Sean Murray.  

UP NEXT: Wheaton returns to the course on Saturday, Oct. 12 for the All New England Championship at Franklin Park in Boston.
