Jessica DePolito '07 begins her second season as the assistant coach to the softball program in 2018-19.

DePolito graduated from Wheaton in 2007 where she holds several records within the athletic department. During her collegiate career she was named an National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Year.

DePolito also helped lead the Lyons to a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) championship and a trip to the NCAA Division III College World Series in 2004 as a freshman. DePolito hit .329 (24-for-73) with seven runs scored, four doubles, one home run and 16 RBI during that season. As a senior, DePolito led the team with a .463 (57-for-123) batting average, 14 home runs, 42 RBI, a .514 on-base percentage and a .894 slugging percentage. DePolito also scored 37 runs, notched nine doubles, one triple and recorded a .986 fielding percentage in 291 total chances (268 PO, 19 A, 4 E).
