Synchronized Swimming Ends Regular Season

NORTON, Mass. - The Wheaton College synchronized swimming program ended the regular season Sunday afternoon in Balfour Natatorium, competing against Ohio State, Boston University, Yale, and Penn. Prior to the start of the meet, the Lyons honored lone senior Maxie Zimmerman for her dedication to the program. 

The senior made the most of her day, finishing third in the solo free final behind two swimmers from Division I OSU. Zimmerman completed her routine with a score of 69.2750, which was less than a point out of second place. Tessa Lopresti also competed in the solo free, taking home fourth place with a score of 68.8000.

Zimmerman and Lopresti teamed up with Kelsey Dolack in the trio free, with the group earning second place with a score of 68.7250. Wheaton also finished in second place (68.0250) in the team routine, with the trio being joined by Lauriina HeinonenSydney McLaren, and Anjelina Romero
