THE RUNDOWN:  

  • Wheaton was led by Maggie Dymes and Casey Kaplan with four goals each. The Lyons also received goals from Maddy Lahm, Kyra Schwartzmann, and Molly Covarrubias. Schwartzmann and Covarrubias each recorded an assist on the night. 
  • RIT was led by five goals from Meghan Donahue. The Tigers also found help from Coletta Rigas, Alanna Fallone, Krystyna Sterio, and Emily Livecchi, all who scored three goals each.  Brooks Melnyk and Katherine Cameron also contributed goals to the win.
  • Both teams traded goals in the first half with the Lyons gaining the lead at 13:02 thanks to a Covarrubias goal. RIT was able to tie the game again at 10:28 making it 5-5 and then regained the lead at 7:33. The Tigers headed into intermission ahead 10-6.
  • RIT was able to carry their momentum into the second half, outscoring Wheaton with another 10-6 scoreline and ending the game at 20-12.
  • Molly WittenJena Casman, and Galicia Rothe all saw time in goal.
