  • The Wheaton College women's lacrosse team was led by seniors Kyra Schwartzman and Molly Covarrubias who both found the back of the net twice. Brooke Harvey and Danielle Trudeau both contributed one goal apiece in the Lyons loss.

  • Covarubbias also picked up three assists on the day while Erin Ortega and Blake Ferretti each recorded three caused turnovers for the Lyons. Harvey also had a game-high four ground balls for the Lyons as well. 

  • Shenandoah University was led by Alyson Bittinger and Emma Stiffler who both had four goals. Hayle Kyte and Kaitlyn Morris had three goals each for the Hornets while Cassie Arndt, Madison Re, Alexandra Simonson, Anna Baxter, Natalie Nichols, and Macy Tignor each contributed one apiece for the Hornets. 

  • Shenandoah University opened up the game strong scoring six goals before the Lyons could score one. Wheaton was able to put up two more in the first half to make the score 10 to three at the end. Wheaton fought hard in the second half scoring goals at 20:18, 12:41 and 10:31 but it wasn't enough to stop the undefeated Hornets. 

  • All three goalies saw playing time for the Lyons, Emily Oundjian made one save after seeing five shots, while Jena Casman made 10 saves after seeing 19 shots while Emily Kelly made one save after seeing eight shots.
