Women's Tennis Pulls Out 5-4 Win Over Colby-Sawyer

THE RUNDOWN:  

  • Wheaton took two out of the three doubles points with Jodi Katz and Connor O'Keefe earning the Lyons an 8-4 win as the teams No. 2 team. 
  • Harley Swainston and Allison Burton collected the Lyons other doubles point with a hard fought 9-7 victory. 
  • In singles action, Isabelle Garvanne earned Wheaton's first point, handing them a 3-1 lead with a 6-2, 6-3 win in the No. 2 spot. 
  • Ines de Bracamonte made it a 4-2 match with a win in the No. 1 spot, battling through three sets for a 5-7, 6-3, 6-1 win. 
  • Swainston earned Wheaton its winning point with a 6-4, 1-6, 6-1 win as Wheaton's No. 6.
