Women's Track & Field Compete at MIT Last Chance

LOCATION: Cambridge, Mass. 

THE RUNDOWN:  

  • Sophomore Ellen Shaw represented Wheaton with a first-place finish in the 100 hurdles with a personal record time of 14.80. 
  • In the 200m, Briana Gausland placed second overall with a time of 25.43 while teammate Alexandra Case followed up in fifth with a personal best time of 25.96.
  • First-year Kathrine Leckbee earned a second place finish in the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 11:12.78.
  • In the 4x100 relay, the relay team consisting of Gausland, Case, Margaret Walker, and Sara Spear placed second with a personal best time of 48.69. 

UP NEXT: The Lyons will hit the road on Thursday, May 23, where they will travel to Geneva, Ohio to compete in the NCAA Championships.
