Walker, Case, and Leckbee Lead the way for the Lyons at the Bowdoin Invitational

The Lyons had a strong showing on Saturday at the Bowdoin Invitational with a quick tune-up meet before next week's Regional Championships at Middlebury College. 

Sophomore Margaret Walker brought home the victory in the 60m dash with a time of (7.96) just off of her prelim time of (7.86) which is her season and personal best time. Junior Chellsie Pearson finished 5th overall in the 60m dash finals with a time of (8.39). Senior Briana Gausland ran a time of (7.91) finishing 2nd overall in the preliminary round. 

Sophomore Alexandra Case took the victory in the 200m dash running a time of (26.42). Pearson doubled back in the 200m running a time of (27.89) placing 5th overall. 

Sophomore Katherine Leckbee took home the 3rd victory of the day for Lyons in the 3000 meter run in a very tactical race that saw many lead changes but Leckbee with a strong last 400 meters won it with a time of (10:32.46). 

Sophomore Elizabeth Matre finished 3rd overall in the 400-meter dash with a personal best time of (1:02.15). 

Senior Abby LeBlanc finished 5th overall in the 800-meter run with a time of (2:29.64). 

Senior Gina Pardi finished 2nd overall in the One-Mile run with a time of (5:28.15). 

Sophomore Nina Schofield took 2nd overall in the 60m Hurdle finals with a time of (9.43) with Junior teammate Ellen Shaw finishing right behind her in a time of (9.66) to place 5th overall.
