Women's Cross Country Finishes Third at WNE Invite

RUNDOWN: 

  • The Wheaton College women's cross country team had a stellar showing at the Western New England Invitational, finishing in third place out of 17 programs.
  • Wheaton was led by an eighth-place finish from sophomore Katherine Leckbee, who finished in 22:44.
  • Katie Brown also finished in the top-20, taking home 17th place out of 198 runners with a time of 23:31. 
  • Senior Holly Cohan crossed the finish line in 24:08, which was good enough to earn her 25th place. 
  • Hannah Brunelle (24:25) and Emma Yount (24:40) rouned out the top-five for Wheaton, earning 33rd and 35th place respectively.
